Vineyards

Australian Vintage owns and leases vineyards in major wine producing regions across Australia, with 2,600 hectares under vine and further access to fruit from across the country through grower relations.

We grow and source premium grapes from some of Australia's most iconic wine regions including Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills in South Australia, Hunter Valley and Tumbarumba in New South Wales, Heathcote in Victoria, Murray Darling in Victoria/New South Wales and the Riverland region of South Australia. Our vineyards and winery are certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.

Adelaide Hills

One of the most progressive and diverse wine regions in Australia, championing altitude and cool climate conditions for prime premium cool climate grape growing. Our three vineyards in various sub-regions and meso-climates growing varietals such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Tempranillo, Gruner Veltliner and Shiraz.

Barossa Valley

Australia's most famous premium wine growing region. Mediterranean in climate, dry conditions on the valley floor with a large diurnal temperature range makes it ideal for full-bodied premium red grape growing. Our vineyard in Lyndoch is ideally positioned to take advantage of the key climatic attributes of the Barossa Valley to produce high quality Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Mataro and Montepulciano.

Murray Darling

The third largest growing region in Australia and vast in both its size and diversity of planting. Hot and dry conditions mean disease pressure is low and long sunshine hours mean ripening conditions are ideal. Our three vineyards in the Murray Darling region are planted with traditional varietals such as Chardonnay, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet as well as emerging varieties such as Prosecco, Malbec, Carmenere, Tempranillo and Montepulciano.

Riverland

The largest growing region in Australia and vast in both its size and diversity of planting. The climate is continental with long sunny days and cooler nights making it ideal for both ripening and retention of delicate varietal flavours. Our three vineyards in the Riverland region are planted with traditional varietals including Chardonnay, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet as well as emerging varieties such as Malbec, Gruner Veltliner and Pinot Noir.

Growers

An imperative part of our grape supply program are our loyal growers. We work with over 30 individual growers across 12 different regions from Langhorne Creek to the Hunter Valley and everywhere in between. Our fair approach to relationships with our growers is seen with some of our growers in key regions supplying quality fruit for over 20 straight vintages.
