Australian Vintage wins two major awards at the 2025 Australian Drinks Awards

Company News | July 2025

We’re proud to share that Australian Vintage was recognised with two prestigious awards at the 2025 Australian Drinks Awards, held last week at the Hilton Sydney.

Hosted by the Drinks Association, the awards are a highlight of the drinks industry calendar, recognising outstanding achievement in supplier performance, brand impact, and contribution to industry. Now in their 13th year, the awards continue to evolve, placing increased focus on innovation, sustainability, and inclusion — values that are deeply embedded in the way we work.

We have been named the winner of the Supply Chain Management Award, recognising our company-wide efforts, operational excellence, and the strength of our end-to-end supply chain.

This award is a strong endorsement of the brilliant work our teams continue to deliver, and a proud moment that reinforces our leadership in this space. We’re also honoured to have received this award previously in 2021 and 2022, making this year’s win a continuation of a proven track record.

“The Supply Chain Management award is a great reflection from our customers on the work our teams do every day to deliver on time and in full across Australia. We’re incredibly proud to win this for the third time and thank our partner GTS Logistics for their ongoing support,” says Mark Alexander, Supply Chain Manager, Australian Vintage.

“To our production and warehouse teams, this is well-earned recognition for your hard work across planning, manufacturing, and distribution. To our suppliers, thank you; your support is critical to making this possible.”

We have also won the Best Environmental Sustainability Initiative Award, which recognises our purpose-led approach to sustainability, not just as a goal, but as a way of doing business.

Last year, we received a Highly Commended in this category, so winning in 2025 against very strong competition is a testament to the efforts we’ve made to embed sustainability across our entire supply chain.

Panel Chair Dan Holland, Director of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs at Endeavour Group, shared that “the judging panel had much deliberation and much debate on this award”, and Australian Vintage stood out by presenting a truly end-to-end ESG strategy.

Our submission was recognised for taking a company-wide approach that translated into a compelling brand activation – engaging growers, internal teams, retail partners and consumers, and showcasing measurable impact from vine to glass.

Our Nepenthe brand served as a clear, tangible example of how our sustainability commitments are being brought to life across every part of the value chain. It’s a powerful example of B Corp values in action, creating shared value through innovation that delivers both business and environmental benefits.

“This award recognises the dedication, innovation and collaboration of our teams and partners and highlights the collective effort of driving sustainable impact at every stage of our value chain, from vine to glass,” says Penelope Goodsall, Head of ESG, Australian Vintage.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved. Let’s take a moment to celebrate and keep pushing boundaries in everything we do.
