Tempus Two becomes the world’s first Shiraz Gin to receive Double Gold at SFWSC

Sydney, May 2023: The results are in from the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) and Tempus Two Copper Shiraz Gin received a Double Gold! This makes our gin the world’s first Shiraz Gin to receive Double Gold at SFWSC.

Retailing for RRP$85, the 100% Shiraz Gin is made from Shiraz wine spirit and distilled with juniper berries, coriander, orange peel and Shiraz grapes.

Here’s what our Chief Winemaker, Jamie Saint said about the win, “We are extremely excited to receive such a prestigious accolade so early in our spirits journey. We’re the only Shiraz gin to achieve double gold in the 2023 competition which highlights our unique wine spirit is world-class and gives us the potential to increase distribution into the USA and other export markets.”

On top of this fantastic news, Tempus Two Prosecco Gin and Wild Botanicals Gin both received Silver.

Held over four days at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco from April 13 – 15, the 2023 competition had a record-breaking 5,500 entries from all over the world. Founded in 2000, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is the oldest and largest competition of its kind.
