Uncorked: Aspiring Leaders Program

To build an engaged workforce and a pipeline of talented leaders, we know how important it is to have a career development strategy. It’s also important to employees, so ensuring you have development pathways is critical to retention.

The Australian Vintage Uncorked: Aspiring Leaders Program is a leadership development program for senior managers. It is designed to bring together senior leaders from across the globe and upskill them in leadership, resilience and strategic thinking. The program is an investment into our employees leadership journey at Australian Vintage.

The Uncorked: Aspiring Leaders Program includes a blend of internal sessions with the People & Culture team and external training providers to ensure a versatile and comprehensive experience for the cohort.

This program plays an important part in Australian Vintage’s on-going commitment to employee development and enabling our people to reach their full potential. Additionally, this program is designed to provide selected employees within our global organisation the opportunity to embark on a 12-month customised development journey that will guide individual thinking and behavioural styles.

Penelope Goodsall, Australian Vintage Sustainability Manager says, “It was a privilege to be a part of the inaugural Uncorked program. An invaluable experience where I developed skills that will carry me through my career and formed lasting bonds with my colleagues.”

Once employees have been through the program, Uncorked Alumni are offered the opportunity to take part in an internal mentoring program whereby they spend 12 months with one of the employees in the next cohort.
